A relative of ours passed away like this, on the supposedly defunct Liverpool Care Pathway. He definitely had Covid, which was the reason for him having been admitted to A&E in the first place. He might have died of the Covid or he might have survived. We will never know. He was written off. We witnessed two Covid wards, both of which were full to capacity. Together with nurses and auxiliary nurses, they had called in nurses from other wards and trainee nurses and it was still chaos. They were unable to cope.
